Job Description

  1. Budgeting & Forecasting
    1. Budgeting: Collaborate with department heads to set realistic financial targets.
    2. Forecasting: Monthly forecasting to reflect changes in the business environment.
    3. Scenario Planning: Develop models to predict financial outcomes under various scenarios.
  2.  Data-Driven Decision Making
    1. Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to provide actionable insights.
    2. Performance Evaluation: Assess the profitability of new projects or product lines.
    3. Cost Optimization: Regularly discuss cost increases with the SCM team and communicate them to stakeholders.
  3.  Strategic Planning and Decision Support
    1. Long-term Plans: Prepare long-term plan after discussion with respective stakeholders.
    2. Resource Allocation: Advise on where to allocate resources for maximum return on investment.
    3. Business case: Take the inputs from stakeholders and prepare the business case.

4. Business Performance Monitoring

    1. KPI Tracking: Monitor key performance indicators and financial metrics.
    2. Variance Analysis: Identify and explain actual and budget/forecast performance variances.
    3. Proactive Reporting: Provide regular updates to management on financial performance.
    4. Collaboration and Relationship Building
    5. Market visit: Travel atleast 3 markets in a quarter
    6. Cross-Departmental Work: Work closely with departments like marketing, product manager etc.
    7. Communication: Clearly communicate financial insights and recommendations.

6. Risk Management

    1. Risk Identification: Identify financial risks and develop mitigation strategies.
    2. Compliance: Ensure all financial activities comply with relevant regulations and standards.

7. Supporting Business Growth

    1. Market Analysis: Analyze market trends to identify growth opportunities.
    2. Financial Modeling: Create models to support business expansion plans.
    3. Strategic Initiatives: Support strategic initiatives with financial insights and analysis.

 

8. Prepare & review various monthly MIS.

 

9. Should have good SAP knowledge.

 

10. Must have hands on Power BI and worked in Digitisation projects.

 

11. Must have experience in making various presentations & story telling.
