1. Talent Sourcing & Pipeline Management
- Develop and execute advanced sourcing strategies for niche manufacturing roles.
- Use multiple channels (job portals, LinkedIn, social media, referrals, vendor networks, and field sourcing).
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline for critical skills such as production, engineering, quality, EHS, maintenance, and plant HR.
2. End‑to‑End Recruitment
- Manage the full recruitment cycle: requirement intake → sourcing → screening → evaluation → offer rollout → onboarding coordination.
- Conduct competency‑based interviews and preliminary assessments.
- Ensure strong alignment with hiring managers on job requirements and candidate profiles.
3. Interview Coordination & Scheduling
- Schedule interviews across multiple shifts and plant locations.
- Coordinate panel availability, assessment rounds, technical tests, and facility walk-throughs.
- Manage candidate communication and follow‑through to ensure a smooth experience.
4. Salary Negotiation & Offer Management
- Conduct compensation benchmarking for manufacturing roles.
- Manage salary discussions, offers, and closures within budget guidelines.
- Partner with HRBP and hiring managers for approvals and negotiation strategies.
- Work towards reducing offer dropouts and improving joining ratios.
5. Recruitment Dashboard & Analytics
- Create and maintain dashboards on key metrics:
- TAT (Time to Fill)
- Source Mix
- Offer-to-Join Ratio
- Pipeline Strength
- Weekly/Monthly Hiring Status
- Present insights to HR leadership and plant heads.
- Use data to drive hiring decisions and process improvements.
6. Stakeholder & Vendor Management
- Partner with plant leaders, functional managers, and HR teams to understand manpower requirements.
- Manage recruitment agencies, evaluate performance, and ensure quality submissions.
- Influence stakeholders with market insights and talent availability.
7. Compliance & Process Excellence
- Ensure recruitment processes adhere to company and statutory compliance standards.
- Maintain accurate documentation: JD, interview sheets, assessment results, and tracker updates.
- Drive continuous improvement in hiring processes and tools.
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing roles (shop floor, operations, engineering, maintenance, quality, supply chain).
- Advanced sourcing skills across multiple platforms.
- Strong negotiation skills and experience in salary structuring.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication capabilities.
- Ability to create dashboards using Excel, Power BI, or ATS tools.
- High attention to detail, urgency, and process orientation.
- Experience hiring for high‑volume and niche production roles.
Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in HR, Business, Engineering, or related field.
- MBA/PGDM in HR preferred.
- Certifications in Talent Acquisition or HR Analytics (added advantage).
Work Experience
- 7–10 years of hands-on recruitment experience, preferably in the manufacturing, engineering, automotive, pharma, FMCG, or industrial sector.
- Experience managing plant-level recruiting is mandatory.
