Luminous is seeking a seasoned System Engineering Leader to drive end-to-end system architecture and integration of inverter, battery, solar, and power conversion systems (PCS).
This role will own system-level design, sizing, communication architecture, safety validation, and performance optimization of the entire energy stack — ensuring reliable, efficient, and compliant solutions across residential, commercial, and industrial applications.
The position requires deep expertise in power electronics, battery systems, inverter design, and system integration, with strong cross-functional leadership capabilities. |

1. Industry: Power Electronics / Energy Storage / Solar / Clean Energy 2. B.Tech / M.Tech in Electrical / Power Electronics / Energy Systems. 3. 10+ years of experience in: Battery systems OR inverter systems Power electronics design & integration Strong understanding of: DC-DC / DC-AC conversion 4. Battery management systems Solar MPPT Grid-tied systems 5. Experience in system-level validation and certification 6. Proven experience leading cross-functional technical teams
Experience in hybrid solar + storage systems.

1. System Architecture & Integration
Battery systems (Li-ion, LFP, Lead-acid) Highly Confidential Solar integration
2. System Sizing & Application Engineering Lead system sizing methodologies for: Residential Commercial & Industrial Telecom / Backup applications
Develop tools/models for: Load profiling Battery sizing Solar array sizing Thermal derating calculations
Validate real-world performance under varied environmental and grid conditions.
3. Communication & Controls Integration
CAN RS485 Modbus Ethernet IoT/cloud connectivity
4. Safety & Compliance Own system-level safety compliance: IEC / BIS / UL standards Grid compliance norms Battery safety standards (IEC 62619, etc.)
Lead safety validation: Short-circuit testing Thermal runaway testing Fault response validation Grid fault ride-through testing
Conduct FMEA, HARA, and system risk assessments.
