As business, government and communities become more data driven in their decision making and business operations, demand on the new and innovative AI and Analytics related capabilities are exponentially growing. As Business Analyst in Luminous you will be responsible for end-to-end delivery of Data Engineering related projects to help fulfill business needs. You will help transforming data into tangible business value.

Qualification/ Personal Attributes

Qualification

  • Bachelors / Master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical Engineering  or equivalent

 

Experience

  • 0-4 years of relevant experience in Business Analyst role
  • Have understanding & experience in defining business process flow, gathering requirements and translate it for developers.
  • Power/Energy/Solar Domain experience will be an added advantage
  • Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.
  • Proficiency in tools like MS Excel, JIRA, Confluence, and SQL (basic queries).

Job Description

Responsibilities

 

  • Work closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Analyze existing processes and identify areas for improvement.
  • Prepare detailed documentation including BRDs (Business Requirement Documents), FRDs (Functional Requirement Documents), and user stories.
  • Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure requirements are implemented accurately.
  • Conduct data analysis to support decision-making and provide actionable insights.
  • Assist in UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure deliverables meet business needs.
  • Create reports and dashboards for performance tracking and business insights.
