- Battery System Design: Lead the design of advanced battery systems, emphasizing thermal management, performance, and safety.
- 3D Modelling and 2D drafting: Use CAD/CAM software preferable SolidWorks, Creo and AutoCAD for Part design, Large scale assembly design, motion study and Darfting using GD&T principles.
- FEA Analysis: Knowledge and hands-on experience on FEA software e.g. COMSOL, Ansys will be added advantage on.
- Thermal Management: Implement effective thermal control strategies to enhance battery performance and safety.
- Component Selection: Knowledge on wide range of engineering materials including Steel, Aluminum, Copper, Brass, Lead and alloys
- Prototyping: Collaborate with stakeholders on building and testing battery prototypes, iterating designs as needed.
- Rapid Prototyping: Collaborate with suppliers and get concepts design developed through Rapid Prototype development.
- Safety Compliance: Knowledge on various safety standards e.g. UL
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive design documentation, product specification, technical writeups and whitepapers, BOM etc.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams for successful battery system integration.
- DFM Principles: Apply DFM principles for Injection Moulded Plastic and Sheet Metal design components.
- Stay updated on emerging manufacturing technologies and rapid prototyping technologies.
