Job Purpose: Assistant Manager – Maintenance, he / she ‘ll be the driving force behind keeping our operations running without a hitch. He / She’ll oversee preventive and corrective maintenance, lead a skilled team, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. His /her work will directly impact production efficiency, cost savings, and workplace safety..

 

 

Qualification/ Personal Attributes

  • Diploma/Degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics  or Industrial Engineering (or equivalent).
  • 6–9 years of experience in plant/facility maintenance, preferably Solar Cell manufacturing or process industries.
  • Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and breakdown maintenance practices.
  • Hands-on experience with troubleshooting mechanical, electrical equipment’s.
  • A safety-first mindset and commitment to compliance.
  • Work in a culture that values innovation, teamwork, and professional growth.

 

Job Description

  • Sound knowledge on Solar Cell Process of Both Perc and Topcon Technology.
  • Assist in planning, scheduling, and supervising preventive and breakdown maintenance for machinery, utilities, and facilities.
  • Monitor equipment performance and implement predictive maintenance strategies to reduce downtime.
  • Coordinate with production, quality, and safety teams to ensure seamless operations.
  • Manage spare parts inventory . Planned improvements in equipment’s for improving MTTR and MTBF.
  • Ensure compliance with statutory safety regulations and internal SOPs.
  • Lead root cause analysis for recurring issues and implement corrective actions.
  • Support the Maintenance Manager in reporting and team performance reviews.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency.
  • Sound knowledge on PLC , SCADA , drives , motor , encoder , industrial communication protocol and various sensors (Proximity , NPN and PNP Type sensors ).
