We are seeking an experienced Senior SAP BASIS Consultant to lead the administration, management, and optimization of our SAP landscape. The role requires expertise in SAP BASIS, system architecture, performance tuning, and support for both on-premises and cloud environments. The candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the stability, scalability, and security of the SAP environment.

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
10+ years of hands-on experience in SAP BASIS administration.
Strong experience with SAP S/4HANA, SAP HANA DB, Solution Manager, Fiori, and Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP/SAP Cloud).
Well versed in system copies, refreshes, backup/restore, and disaster recovery planning.
Proficiency in transport management and change control processes.
Solid understanding of operating systems (Linux/Unix/Windows) and networking concepts.
Strong problem-solving skills with ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Good communication, documentation, and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Skill
SAP BASIS Certification(s) (e.g., SAP Certified Technology Associate).
Experience with automation tools and DevOps practices in SAP landscapes.
Knowledge of SAP HANA administration studio, SAP Connectors and monitoring tools.
Exposure to SAP BTP (Business Technology Platform) and integration with non-SAP systems.
Key Responsibilities
System Administration
Install, configure, and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, BW, CRM, SCM, Solution Manager, etc.).
Manage SAP upgrades, enhancement packs, kernel patches, and support packages.
Monitor and troubleshoot SAP systems, databases, and application servers to ensure high availability.
Performance & Optimization
Conduct system health checks, performance tuning, and capacity planning.
Proactively monitor system performance and implement corrective actions.
Database & Infrastructure Support
Manage databases such as HANA, Oracle, SQL Server, or DB2 in relation to SAP systems.
Work closely with infrastructure and network teams to ensure seamless integration.
Security & Compliance
Oversee user administration, role management, and SAP security best practices.
Ensure compliance with audit and IT security standards.
Project & Stakeholder Management
Provide BASIS expertise for SAP implementations, migrations, and cloud transitions.
Collaborate with functional, development, and business teams to support projects and production issues.
Lead and mentor junior BASIS consultants.
