We are looking for a motivated Junior SAP ABAP Consultant to join our SAP development team. The role involves assisting in the design, development, and maintenance of SAP applications, reports, and enhancements. The ideal candidate will have foundational knowledge of ABAP programming and a keen interest in learning advanced SAP technologies, including SAP HANA and SAP BTP.

Qualification
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline.
Experience: 4–6 years of SAP ABAP experience
Technical Skills
Basic knowledge of ABAP/4, Data Dictionary, Reports, ALV, BDC, and SmartForms/SAPscript.
Understanding of modularization techniques, debugging, and performance basics.
Familiarity with IDoc, BAPI, and RFC concepts (added advantage).
Awareness of SAP HANA, CDS Views, and OData services is a plus.
Eagerness to learn SAP BTP and Fiori/UI5.
Key Responsibilities
ABAP Development Support
Assist in developing and maintaining custom SAP applications, reports, and enhancements under senior consultant guidance.
Support creation of forms (Smart Forms, SAP script) and reports (classical, interactive, ALV).
Perform basic debugging, testing, and documentation of ABAP programs.
Technical Learning & Execution
Learn and apply ABAP modularization techniques, data dictionary concepts, and performance best practices.
Support integration development using BAPIs, BADIs, and IDocs.
Gain exposure to modern SAP technologies such as CDS Views, OData services, and SAP Fiori/UI5.
Project & Team Collaboration
Work closely with functional consultants and business users to understand requirements.
Participate in code reviews, unit testing, and defect resolution.
Contribute to project documentation and knowledge sharing within the team.
Continuous Improvement
Stay updated with SAP ABAP best practices and S/4HANA development techniques.
Demonstrate willingness to learn and adapt to SAP BTP, RAP, and cloud-based extensions.
Develop extensions using SAP Fiori/UI5 and deploy them via SAP BTP.
Preferred Certifications
SAP Certified Development Specialist – ABAP for SAP HANA
Exposure to SAP S/4HANA or SAP BTP training will be a plus.
