Key Requirements for GET – Methods / Industrial Engineering
- Basic understanding of Industrial Engineering and Manufacturing Processes.
- Knowledge of Time Study, Work Measurement, and Line Balancing concepts.
- Understanding of OEE (Overall Equipment Effectiveness) and basic production KPIs.
- Familiarity with Lean Manufacturing concepts such as 5S, Kaizen, Waste Elimination, and Visual Management.
- Basic knowledge of TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) principles
- Exposure to process mapping, process flow diagrams, and method improvement techniques through academic projects or internships.
- Awareness of Toyota Production System (TPS) and Lean Manufacturing fundamentals.
- Good proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, Pivot Tables, charts, and basic data analysis.
- Strong analytical, logical reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to interpret data, identify trends, and support improvement initiatives.
- Good communication skills and willingness to work on the shop floor and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
- B.E./B.Tech (Mechanical, Production, Industrial, Manufacturing, Mechatronics, or related disciplines) with a strong academic foundation.
