Qualification/ Personal Attributes

  • Graduate / Diploma / B.Tech in any discipline (preferably with specialization in Materials Management or Supply Chain)
  • 3–6 years of experience in stores, inventory, or warehouse operations in a manufacturing setup
  • Familiarity with ERP systems (SAP / Oracle / etc.)
  • Good understanding of inward/outward material movement, GRN, stock reconciliation, and documentation
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work in shifts and handle physical stock verification

 

Job Description

  • Assist in day-to-day operations of the stores including receipt, storage, and issuance of materials
  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of GRNs, stock entries, and dispatch records
  • Maintain inventory levels and support periodic stock audits and reconciliations
  • Coordinate with production, purchase, and logistics teams for material availability
  • Ensure proper labeling, stacking, and housekeeping of store items
  • Monitor shelf life and batch-wise tracking of critical materials
  • Handle vendor returns, scrap management, and non-conformance reporting
  • Ensure compliance with safety, ISO, and audit requirements
  • Support digitalization and process improvement initiatives in stores operations
