Qualification : • Bachelor’s in Electrical / Electronics Engineering or related field. • 3–4 years of hands-on experience in testing lead-acid batteries (Flooded, AGM, GEL). • Strong capability in interpreting trends such as voltage drop, capacity loss and electrolyte behavior. • Experience diagnosing failures like low capacity, high self-discharge, thermal issues, etc. • Familiarity with IS, JIS, IEC, IEEE standards. • Skilled in operating battery analyzers, life cycle testers and data logging instruments. • Awareness of NABL guidelines is an added advantage. Personal Attributes: • Strong analytical and problem‑solving ability. • High level of responsibility, accuracy and dependability. • Logical reasoning for troubleshooting and root-cause analysis. • Clear documentation and communication skills. • Ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams. • Adaptability to emerging test technologies and standards. • Comfortable working in lab, workshop and field environments. • Commitment to timely and high‑quality deliverables.

Battery Testing: • Develop and execute detailed test plans, including allocation of lifecycle testers, environmental chambers, and associated equipment. • Perform electrical tests under varied operating conditions. • Conduct performance evaluation of DOE batteries, advanced batteries and regular production batteries. • Execute charge/discharge cycles, capacity tests, internal resistance checks and aging analysis. • Monitor updates in IS, IEC, IEEE and relevant global standards and communicate changes to the team. Data Acquisition & Analysis: • Collect, validate and analyze test data using advanced software and instruments. • Perform failure mode analysis post lifecycle testing. • Identify performance degradation patterns and critical failure indicators. Reporting & Documentation: • Prepare detailed technical reports for internal and management stakeholders. • Develop manuals, formats and systems required for future NABL accreditation. • Maintain accurate documentation for audits and certifications. Collaboration: • Work closely with R&D design teams to optimize battery design and field performance. • Support Quality Assurance and New Product Development initiatives. • Coordinate with cross‑functional teams for data-based improvements.
