Qualification/ Personal Attributes

Qualification & Experience:

  • Education: Diploma / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering.
  • Experience: 3–6 years in electrical maintenance, preferably in battery or similar manufacturing industry.
  • Certifications: Electrical Supervisor License (preferred).

 

Key Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong knowledge of HT/LT systems, PLCs, VFDs, and control circuits.
  • Ability to troubleshoot electrical faults quickly.
  • Familiarity with energy management systems and safety protocols.
  • Good communication and leadership skills for managing shift teams.

 

 

Job Description

Key Responsibilities:

  • Shift Operations:
    • Supervise and manage electrical maintenance activities during the shift.
    • Monitor power distribution systems, transformers, panels, and switchgear.
    • Ensure availability of electrical equipment for production lines.
  • Preventive & Breakdown Maintenance:
    • Execute preventive maintenance schedules for electrical systems.
    • Respond promptly to breakdowns and restore operations with minimal downtime.
  • Safety & Compliance:
    • Ensure adherence to electrical safety standards and statutory requirements.
    • Conduct routine inspections and maintain records as per ISO and factory norms.
  • Team Coordination:
    • Guide electricians and technicians during troubleshooting.
    • Coordinate with production and utility teams for smooth operations.
  • Documentation & Reporting:
    • Maintain shift logs, breakdown reports, and energy consumption records.
    • Report critical issues to the Maintenance Head.
